Robert R. Ferland

President and Founder

Bob began his copier career thirty-seven years ago as a salesman for Herb Chamber at A-Copy. Learning from the best, Bob rose through the ranks at A-Copy, becoming solely responsible for starting up its Philadelphia branch at age twenty-four. After being acquired by IKON, Bob became Group President of the Western Region. Bob opened Axion Business Technologies in 2004, parlaying his small business roots and his large corporate experience. Bob has acquired seven companies encompassing Rhode Island, Boston, Greater Boston, Greater Worcester, Southen Massachusetts, and Cape Cod and the Islands. Axion's mantra is "it's all about the customer." After almost forty years in the business he has developed a strong emphasis on exemplary customer satisfaction and has set and achieved the highest standards of customer sence in the industry. Bob, his wife, and two daughters, reside in Rhode Island.

Daniel Sanderson

VP of Sales

Dan Sanderson grew up in Portsmouth RI, and graduated with a degree in Political Science from University of Rhode Island in 1993. Dan started his career in the copier industry with Xerox in Hawaii. After 3 successive promotions he was recruited to Ikon Office Solutions as General Manager for the Hawaiian Islands. After 10 successful years in office Equipment, Dan took the position of regional Manager for Northern California and Nevada for Information Management leader Iron Mountain, where he successfully grew their Enterprise and landed the State Of California CMAS contract for Iron Mountain. Family considerations brought the Sanderson's back to RI, and eventually to Axion Business technologies. Dan lives in Portsmouth with his wife and 3 children. He has coached football the last 3 years at Portsmouth High School as well as volunteering for youth basketball and football. Dan currently serves as Chapter President for BNI Elements of Success in Newport. Dan is committed to the professional development of the Axion sales staff and the growth of Axion in the region.

Helene Martinelli

Office Manager

As office manager, Helene is here to help answer questions regarding invoices, financing, payments, etc. She has over 17 years of experience, specifically in the office equipment industry. She is empowered to make decisions necessary to fix any problem immediately.

Roger DiGregorio

Regional Sales Manager

As Regional Sales Manager, Roger DiGregorio oversees overall coordination, functional management and leadership of sales initiatives for Axion in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. With more than 25 years of sales and software experience, Roger is a veteran in the Information Technology market with in-depth knowledge of both independent dealer and manufacturer business environments. He has held key leadership roles in sales, general management, product management, services, marketing, supply chain and operations. Roger has led numerous initiatives geared toward helping customers drive to digitization and achieve higher levels of innovation and productivity through technology. Roger has a passion for technology and people, bringing them together to improve business models. He understands the client’s needs and how to seamlessly integrate world-class hardware and software with excellent service and support to create the best possible solution for each of our valued clients. Prior to joining Axion, Roger held progressive roles with Konica Minolta Business Solutions and Toshiba Business Solutions. He graduated from Bradford College with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
